The Treaty of
Versailles was the peace settlement signed after World War I ended in
1918. The treaty was signed at the Versailles palace.
Three most
important politicians:
The treaty was signed on June 28th,
1919. It consisted of months of arguing and negotiating between the
three. These men were known as the “Big Three”.
Germany's nation felt as if the treaty
was not fair towards them. They were very angry. Germany hated that
they were blamed for the war. Which was stated in the treaty.
The German people felt blamed for
something that was the governments fault and choice.
