Natural Rights

After reading both sides of the Natural rights of the French people, you can see that the women were not asking to be treated better than the men, but exactly the same.  The women declared their rights as basically the same as that of the mens "Natural Rights".  Only difference is that they treated men and women as equals.
I am going to compare the rights of both documents in one paragraph.
The Declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citizen states, "Men are born and remain free in rights." And so it basically says the same in the Declaration of the Rights of Woman and Female Citizen.  The difference is that it says woman live equal to man.  The men say it is their "goal" to conserve the natural rights of man.  But the woman say it is their "purpose" to conserve the natural rights of man and women.  The rest of both of these documents continue to do this.  Where the men base their rights soley on theirselves and what the aim to do, and the women base their rights on both sexes and what they plan to do.
The Declaration of the Rights of Man is based off of the writings of the philosophes, to a certai extent anyways.  These "rights" come from the political duties of Enlightenment and by Enlightenment principles of human rights.  One example is individualism.
When looking up some information on the French Revolution, it seemed that some of the minority groups challenged the authority of the government.  (https://www.mtholyoke.edu/courses/rschwart/hist151s03/french_rev_causes_consequences.htm)
These documents are parts of this effect that strated the French Revolution.  Men and Women did not see eye to eye.  And the women decided to challenge those views of the men.  Their declaration to be equal challenged the way of the government.
